No to “London Crossrail hole scam Big Business agenda of looting the public purse....” CAMPAIGN looked for a trace of the ‘world class city’ bragging in the ‘10 times-repeated’ [on the BBC TV channels in the past 24 hours] ‘interview’ that Andrew Neil contrived as part of the corrupt peddling of the career of Ken Livingstone ... There was no such bragging. There was a trace of bragging in the utterances of Livingstone in the promotional interview..... such as the bragging that Livingstone never paid any attention to the Blaired party bureaucrats, doing what he considered right for him to do... But there was no bragging about the ‘City of London’ or about ‘London’ as in any way being the ‘world class’ anything... That was significant. That was remarkable... Because Livingstone did refer to his being defeated by Boris Johnson. As did Andrew Neil...Neither, however, referred to what Livingstone had said in the run up to that ‘election’ [dated 1 May 2008]. That was very odd. For Livingstone peddled the ‘success’ and the ‘achievement’ of the Noi York mayor [and warmonger, Billionaire and backer of the occupation of Iraq by the USA imperialist forces] Michael Bloomberg [who is still actively cultivating the field to have a go at being ‘elected’ to the White House, may be at the next, scheduled election 4 years away] ..in the segment... But he did NOT refer to what he HAD said about London in April 2008.... Any look at what he had said would show that Livingstone was unstoppable when it came to bragging for the City of London, boasting OF the City of London.....Bragging of London as ‘the world class capital’.....How come? Perhaps the answer was stated by LYINGSTILL Livingstone himself in another utterance that WAS broadcast... He said that politics was ‘the pursuit of power’ and NOT about ‘fairness’. He did believe that politics was about pursuing power BRUTALLY! He did acknowledge the fact that he was in league with Big Business... He termed it ‘working’ relationship. But he lied in the words he used... He is now on record as having admitted that he has been a Big Business tout....[To be continued]

TOLD YOU SO as far back as February 2004, that Crossrail was NOT economically sustainable; that Crossrail was not economically tenable or needed....that Crossrail was not compatible with the transport needs and the transport ‘budgets’ of and in London; that Crossrail was a seriously flawed, crassly conceived project that was not the product of economic demand but a ploy that had been contrived to allow Big Business conglomerates a plausible way to rob the UK public; that the looters’ charter that the London Crossrail ALSO included the looting of the UK public under covers of the banking system operated via the City of London and comparable tools........that Crossrail was not the priority in transport expenditure and investment as seen by ‘experts ‘including Rod Eddington; that Crossrail was bound to be ditched under the sheer weight of wastefulness and diversion of resources that simply were not available..... Today Wednesday 8 October 2008, the day when the UK public was landed with the biggest bailout bill to salvage the city of crooks and their assorted perpetrators against society, EVEN the perennially stupid ITV London news was forced to confess to NOTICING the following inevitable truth: “As for Reading, getting their quicker from this eastern side of the city may now be a pipe-dream. Crossrail may get crushed by the credit-crunch. It was always going to cost several King's ransoms but now it may simply be that the dosh the Government were going to spend digging the tunnel and propping it up, will be spent on digging the Banks out of a hole and propping them up, instead.”

Gordon Brown - and UK finance minister Alistair Darling [yes the same one who put the CRASS Crossrail Bill into UK Parliament in February 2005]- failed to show at their news conference this morning that the UK Govt was getting to grips with the IRRESPONSIBILITY of Big Business. Despite the repeated utterances of stock phrases suggesting that they were, there was not one word delivered at that news conference that showed that Brown or Darling was concerned about the core of the crisis. That core IS greed. That core is capitalistic corruption. That core is Thatcherite disregard for society.Brown remains a prisoner of Big Business despite suggestions to the contrary....
